Just perfect to rebalance, refresh and re-set ready for Spring, this is a luxurious yoga retreat at the spectacular Brimstone Hotel in the stunning English Lake District.
Led by renowned yoga teacher Charlie Morgan – a favourite of famous healthy foodie Deliciously Ella and instructor to the Harlequins rugby team – this restful break will provide a small group of people with the very best accommodation, food and yoga.
The Well Connected is taking over Brimstone Hotel exclusively, so we will have the place entirely to ourselves with a team of dedicated hosts to ensure we are beautifully looked after. Your room will be vast in size with its own private balcony, huge dreamy bed and fabulous interior design and there are a range of suites to choose from, with everything from wood-burning stoves which can be lit ready for your arrival, to enormous bath tubs which can be opened up to your private terrace and enjoyed al fresco.
You can do as much or as little as you wish and throughout your stay you’ll get to enjoy exclusive access to Brimstone Spa, a new state of the art development offering a heated relaxation infinity pool that spans from indoor to outdoor, a big outdoor fire with a covered seating area perfect for snuggling up in blankets and seven thermal experiences including a Himalayan salt steam grotto, fragrance columns, foot-spas and an outdoor sauna.
We have worked closely with Brimstone’s chefs to create bespoke menus offering delicious, nourishing vegetarian food free from refined sugar and packed full of goodness. It will be nutrient-dense and plentiful with everything from restorative breakfasts, energizing lunches and lavish three course dinners, to fresh cold-pressed juices, bedtime superfood hot chocolates and indulgent snacks and treats…All good for mind, body and soul.
You’ll enjoy a gorgeous itinerary of yoga classes with Charlie… Pre-breakfast classes to start our days beautifully, more challenging sessions in the afternoons and a little relaxing meditation or gentle candle-light yoga in the evenings to perfectly prepare for a wonderful night’s rest. This retreat is suitable for all levels, whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced yogi.
Throughout the three nights you’ll enjoy lots of little gifts and surprises to help you truly relax…Organic cotton Fairtrade sweaters to keep you toasty, lovely natural products to keep you pampered and all sorts of other treats to ensure you get maximum enjoyment from our escape.
Our intention is that you emerge more balanced, better-rested and well-nourished, ready to return to reality with a healthier, happier approach.

Vinayasa Flow Yoga Instructor
I have been practicing yoga on and off for 15 years, coming to it initially from a workout perspective. Following a life-changing trip to the Himalayan Yoga Institute in 2011, I decided to leave my job as an Assistant Buyer for The Disney Store and deepen my knowledge of yoga. In 2012, I became a certified teacher in Bali with WLYA – The Wise Living Yoga Academy (affiliated to The Yoga Institute of Santacruz, Mumbai, India – the world’s oldest organized yoga institution) and came back to set up my own studio in Somerset, UK. I now teach group classes at various yoga centres and corporations in and around London and private one-to-ones. I am also currently the yoga instructor for the Harlequins and England 7’s rugby teams. I also teach internationally at resorts and retreats and have set up a Yoga and Photography company called Sepia Lotus Retreats.
I cater the type of yoga I teach to the needs of each individual. However, my public classes involve an innovative and forever changing style of dynamic vinyasa flow. Although extremely fast-paced at times, I am a perfectionist when it comes to correct body alignment, the synchronization of movement and breath and the importance of a sumptuous, meditative relaxation. My classes are down-to-earth, fun, creative and challenging, but at the same time accessible, maintaining the philosophy that ‘yoga is for all’.
I am a proud Ambassador for Battersea, Sweaty Betty and the wonderfully Organic and Fair Tradeﾠcoconut water, Coco Zumi.
When I am not on the mat, I am at the sewing machine. I have a textiles business called Shanti Living, selling a range of goods, from hand-made yoga bags, relaxation eye masks, bespoke clothing and furniture. My textiles are availableﾠat www.shantiliving.co.ukﾠand various London yoga centres including:ﾠThe Life Centre, ﾠIndaba and Yoga Haven.
